DHET Research Bulletin on PSET System – 12th Edition:  The Research Bulletin is intended to share information about the latest research developments on the PSET sector, which covers Universities, Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Colleges, Community Education and Training (CET) Colleges, Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs), and Qualifications and Quality Assurance Bodies. These AGMs are critical for stakeholders to stay updated on industry developments, governance matters, and financial reports. The Safety and Security Sector Education and Training Authority (SASSETA) invites eligible stakeholders to apply for discretionary grants for the 2024/25 financial year. This funding supports skills development initiatives within the safety and security sector. Applications close on December 15, 2024, at 23:59. For more info, click here.

Services Seta, closing 2 December 2024
The Services Sector Education and Training Authority (Services SETA) invites researchers, public and private research providers, institutions, employer associations, and professional bodies to apply for discretionary grants for the 2024/25 financial year. For more info click here.

Foodbev Seta, closing 6th of December 2024
The FoodBev Manufacturing Seta invites eligible stakeholders to apply for discretionary grants for the 2025/26 financial year. This funding supports skills development initiatives aligned with the Sector Skills Plan and the National Skills Development Plan 2030. For more info click here.

Teta, closing 6th of December 2024
The Transport Education and Training Authority (Teta) invites applications for the 2025/26 discretionary grants to advance skills development within the transport sector, aligned with the National Skills Development Plan 2030. For more details click here.

InSeta, closing 17th of December 2024
INSETA invites stakeholders to submit Expressions of Interest for Strategic Projects addressing critical and scarce skills in the insurance and financial services sector. The funding window is open from 6 November 2024 to 17 December 2024. Submissions must be sent to Proposals@inseta.org.za by 16:00 on 17 December 2024. For more details view here.

Fasset, closing 31st December 2024
Fasset wishes to invite all registered employers and organisations in the sector who have trained their staff between 1 April 2024 to date to apply for the Training Incentive Grant (TIG). The Manufacturing, Engineering and Related Services Sector Education and Training Authority (merSeta) is now accepting applications for discretionary grants for the 2025/26 Financial Year. This funding window supports skills development initiatives addressing sectoral and national priorities, including technical training, green skills, entrepreneurship, and bursaries. The Banking Sector Education and Training Authority (BankSeta) invites levy-paying employers to apply for discretionary grants for the 2025/26 financial year.
