Will we be able to assist you?
The projects we take on…..and the projects we don’t….
We understand that navigating QCTO, SAQA and Quality Partner compliance criteria can be confusing, and that you place a lot of trust in us and our advice and information shared. And so, before any accreditation project is embarked on, we walk a path together with you to create clarity and certainty of what we’re applying for and what it will mean from a compliance point of view. Only then will we take on the job, starting with a defined project scope, set of deliverables and costing for our QCTO accreditation support and assistance. And as you know with us – your last invoice is only payable once you have your QCTO accreditation report…..so we’re accountable throughout.
We believe that this approach is a living demonstration of our first value of integrity.
My invitation stands 😊 – join me for a one-on-one, online QCTO consultation so we can work through it together and you can have confidence and peace of mind in the journey ahead. 500+ consultations since 2020! Isn’t it time we chatted too?
Yours in Skills,
QCTO AND SETA NEWS
The Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation (MHESI), Dr Blade Nzimande, recently launched the ground-breaking QCTO-approved Civic Education and Health Skills Programme at NQF level 5. The skills programme was developed in South Africa by Higher Health, an agency of the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), in collaboration with the QCTO and the Health and Welfare (HW) SETA.
“The co-curriculum offers an unprecedented opportunity to make the vision of building good citizenship a reality for all South Africans.”

QCTO UPDATED OCCUPATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Stay up to date with new developments within the QCTO Occupational Qualifications.
Some bits and pieces from the Thrive school of hard knocks 😊
- The QCTO New Venture Creation skills programme’s number has changed from SP-210010 to SP-210401.
- Expired QCTO Occupational Certificates are awaiting re-registration (Project Manager, Computer Technician & Contact Centre Manager are such examples).
- Note that Foundational Learning Competence has also expired and will not be re-registered – foundational learning will be incorporated into the design of QCTO qualifications going forward.
- Take a peek at the new QCTO Skills Programmes – largely related to cranes and mining.
- We have QCTO confirmation that you can indeed put your learners through an EISA administrated by your own accredited assessment centre.
- We are finding the information shared through APPETD and ASDSA very valuable over this time – perhaps you’d like to consider joining them too?
- Join our free Friday QCTO titbit mailing list for the latest QCTO updates.
