A DANCE WE KNOW…

African proverb has it that “a woman is never old when it comes to the dance she knows.” If you know much about me, you’ll know how much I love to dance…..and this new QCTO dance certainly has us on our toes! With Services Seta no longer accepting legacy qualifications or skills programmes from the end of August the shift to QCTO is certainly here. We anticipate other Setas to follow suit shortly.

But more importantly, along with the whole of South Africa, we are celebrating all things woman this month – the strength, presence and grace of women everywhere, holding families, workplaces and communities together. The shoulders of the giants that came before us are honoured and remembered with reverence and thanks.

And as such, we declare to today “hug the women in your life day” – call your Mom – smile at a stranger – add a little extra love to all the ladies around you. We could all do with a little extra lovin’ right now

Yours in skills (from a soggy Cape Town)

Andrea

PS – Thrive is working hard on a QCTO-compliant LMS collaboration that we can’t wait to show you. Watch this space….
