QCTO AND SETA NEWS

QCTO RESEARCH REPORT

Andrea was delighted to be involved in the focus groups contributing to the QCTO research report titled “Moving to a risk-based approach to Quality and Assurance – Challenges and Possibilities”. This project re-examines the QCTO’s current accreditation systems in depth and provides recommendations for the possible implementation of a new data-driven/risk-based approach to accreditation and monitoring.

COVID-19 SURVEY ON EMPLOYMENT AND SKILLS PLANNING

The INSETA Research unit is conducting a follow-up survey on the impact of COVID-19 on employment and skills planning in the sector. The information requested will assist in making informed decisions around skills planning and possible re-skilling and up skilling projects.

The W&RSETA hereby notifies all its stakeholders to apply for Discretionary Grants for the 2022/2023 financial year.

INSETA EXTENSION OF DG FUNDING WINDOW

All companies registered with INSETA can apply for support in the areas of Learnerships, Internships, Bursaries for Workers, Candidacy, Adult Education and Training and Skills Programmes for Workers. The application window for Discretionary Grants will be extended to 13th April 2022.
