Assessment Practitioner

SP-220320

This QCTO-accredited course is designed for individuals who aspire to master the art of assessment, whether you are new to the field or looking to enhance your existing skills. You will gain the knowledge and practical skills required to conduct high-quality assessments for QCTO qualifications and skills programmes, as well as the legacy unit standard-based programmes. The course covers a wide spectrum of assessments, including internal formative and summative assessments, along with Final Integrated Supervised Assessments (FISA) and External Integrated Summative Assessments (EISA). Emphasis is on a learner-centric approach, the focus is on developing learners, rather than simply grading them.

Course Overview:

This online course spans over 7 weeks and includes two interactive full-day Fridays where you will collaborate with fellow learners to apply theory and practice through simulations, worksheets, and group discussions. Time between mentor sessions each Friday is spent doing self-study/reading, completing internal assessments and transferring your new-found knowledge into workplace tasks. You will be supported throughout, with the option to contact your mentor with any concerns or assistance that you may need. The programme culminates in your FISA.
