LG Seta has announced that their accreditation seating dates for the remainder of the financial year are as follows: 31 October 2019, 12 December 2019, 6 February 2020 and 26 March 2020.

AGRISETA DISCRETIONARY GRANT APPLICATION FOR 2020/21 IS NOW OPEN
Stakeholders are advised to limit applications to the AgriSETA 2019/20 Sectoral Priority Occupations (pivotal) List. Programmes such as land reform, rural development and any related strategic programmes to the National Skills Development Plan (NSDP) will be supported. W&RSeta has announced that they will provide R2 000 in skills development to 1 500 informal traders as part of their ITAMED programme. In addition, they will be providing up to R18 000 to 3 500 levy-paying small companies for training through their SME Discretionary Grant programme. They will use the W&RSeta and municipality databases to select participants – so make sure you register on the databases to take part in this opportunity!
THE MPUMALANGA PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT BURSARY OPPORTUNITIES
We just heard that the Mpumalanga Provincial Government intends to award bursary opportunities to deserving students and unemployed youth to further their studies in critical and scarce skills. The Ephraim Mogale Bursary Scheme prioritises the previously disadvantaged and deep rural communities in the province of Mpumalanga.
