It is Women’s Month and we would like to honour and applaud all the amazing women out there!

When Ingrid and I started Thrive –  we were determined to instill a culture of celebrating women in both our business and personal ethos. We take off our hats to everyone out there that contributes to the recognition of women and their unique and powerful place in business and society.

So much has changed during this pandemic…the concept of traditional training has changed radically! Being physically present in a training venue is no longer the only learning option. We have now entered an age that if you have access to a computer – you have access to quality training – wherever you are!

Thrive is thrilled to announce that we are a part of this revolution in online education and that we have worked out how to safely and comfortably offer our ever-popular courses online.

Even our super-interactive assessor’s course, complete with our unique workmat activity format designed to impart the required skills and education experience to excel at this important role,  is now available online! So, when you are ready to get your team upskilled, we are here for you – face-to-face or online. Your choice 🙂

TETA 
TETA has sent out its e-learning guidelines this month. They will evaluate application eligibility and schedule a meeting via Zoom for you to demonstrate the system as part of your evaluation.  Click application forms to apply. CATHSSETA

DHET LIST OF OCCUPATIONS IN HIGH DEMAND

W&RSETA BURSARY SCHEME 2021

The W&RSETA Bursary Scheme for undergraduate programmes in the 2021 academic year is now open. Applications will close on 31 August 2020 and must be submitted to the SETA’s respective provincial offices. Click here for the advert and application form.

NATIONAL STUDENT FINANCIAL AID SCHEME

Applications are now open for 2021 NSFAS financial aid registration. Visit their website to check eligibility and apply.

COLLINS CHABANE MUNICIPALITY INTERNSHIP 

Applications to be part of the internship programme at Collins Chabane Local Municipality is now open. The closing date is 02 September 2020. See here for more info.

AGRISETA DISCRETIONARY GRANTS 

AgriSETA DG applications are now open for the 2021 academic year. The closing date is 15 September 2020. Click here for more information. Their Expanded Public Works Programme Artisan Apprenticeship Training application window is also open. See here for the application form.  The closing date is 13 September 2020.

INSETA  
The INSETA application window for Bursaries for Unemployed Youth and Work Integrated Learning (WIL) are now open. The applications close on 21 September 2020.

FASSET 
Registered Employers including Professional Bodies and Trade Unions represented in the Fasset sector can now apply for the Training Incentive Grant(TIG).  Please click here to access the application criteria and send your application to incentivesgrant@fasset.org.za. The closing date for the application is 30 October 2020.
