Many QCTO curriculums do not require formal assessor certification, so join us for this 1-day relevant, high-impact, important webinar to ensure you can professionally assess in the QCTO environment.
Please note: in order to gain maximum value from this programme, it is recommended that you have some experience in facilitating, Seta assessing or some experience in the broader ETD environment. High level understanding of the QCTO environment and what an SDP should have in place for the successful rollout of Skills programmes and Occupational Qualifications/Part Qualifications.
Understanding the QCTO environment:
- Exploring the NQF, SAQA, QCTO, and Seta roles and functions;
- Understanding your QCTO report;
Unpacking terminology:
- Skills programme, Occupational Qualification, Part Qualification;
- Skills Programme Document, Curriculum, Assessment Specification Document;
- Internal assessment, Continues assessment, Formative assessment, Summative assessment, FISA and EISA.
Connecting the Curriculum to Practice:
- Understanding the requirements set out for Qualifications & Skills Programmes;
- Analysing the components of Knowledge, Practical, and Workplace Modules;
The role of SMEs/ETD Practitioners
- Reviewing the responsibilities of facilitators, assessors, moderators, mentors and invigilators in the learning process;
- QCTO requirements vs best practice.
