Thrive was founded in January 2003 with a need to make a significant difference in the lives of South Africans. We felt that the Skills Development Act of 1998 provided wonderful opportunities to assist in the up-skilling and improvement in the employability of previously disadvantaged individuals. Our accumulated skills and experience developed this into a business and it was on this foundation that Thrive was established and continues to operate.
Philosophy & Values
As expert skills development and accreditation consultants we pride ourselves on the service that we offer our clients. Our service remains consistent and of a high quality, with the foundations of transparency and ethical business practice throughout all interactions with our clients and associates. Our service promise to our clients is complete reliability and confidentiality, trustworthy expertise and capable facilitation. We participate in sound skills development practices in our own company.
Thrive Learning Facilitation is committed to the interrelated principles of Black Economic Empowerment and Skills Development. As a company that was built on the belief that the Department of Labour's Skills Development initiatives would assist South Africa to redress the imbalances of our past, we feel that it is of crucial importance for us to practice those beliefs within our organisation.
It is the stated policy of Thrive Learning Facilitation to wherever possible, make use of SMME enterprises. We believe in supporting and encouraging self employment and as such have many suppliers, and indeed customers who are SMME's.
At Thrive we are entirely people-focused. We believe in networking and referral marketing - where there is value, we network our clients with each other. We have large network of associates and fellow consultants offering expertise and capacity wherever necessary.
We make use of a comprehensive Quality Management System for our Training division - in keeping with SETA & SAQA requirements and within the related skills development legislation.
We undergo annual financial audits and statement compilation by a registered accountant, fully complying with applicable legislation imposed on closed corporations.
Our charity of choice is Yenzani Safe House for children (www.yenzani.org) where we spend time in the running of this Non-Profit organisation, as well as fundraising, public relations and co-ordination of events.
