Making head and tail of NQF, Accreditation and Skills Development

This one-day workshop is designed to make practical, realistic sense of the new developments in education and training in South Africa. In such a fast changing environment, it is easy to lose out on the essence and real benefits of the Skills Development and South Africa Qualifications Acts. This workshop will help define the new roles and responsibilities of companies, and especially training providers, in this new way of training and assessing learners.

Participants will leave not only with an integrated understanding of skills development, Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs) and the National Qualifications Framework, but also with the tools and references to make it work well in their environment.

Workplace Skills Planning, Assessments and SETA accreditation will be covered in detail for the purpose of adapting these processes into the business and training environment in a cost effective and sensible way.
