NEWSLETTER | 19 FEBRUARY 2018 | IT’S THE LUUURVE EDITION
Times they are a-changing……interesting times here in South Africa and here at Thrive we can’t help but feel a sense of excitement and hope for a firmer path leading to a more inclusive, more prosperous and a brighter way forward for our beloved country. Aaaand it’s raining (a little) in Cape Town!
This edition is dedicated to the luuuurve we’re feeling for Mzansi.
MANDATORY GRANT APPLICATIONS
Skills season is firmly upon us – remember that end April is the annual deadline for all Mandatory Grant applications. Are you on track to submit yours? Can we help you with that? WSP submission will ensure a 20% of annual SDL grant returned to you – and also allow you to apply for more substantial Discretionary Grants. If BEE is a concern for you, then this submission is a necessity. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to see how best we can help – either by acting as an external SDF to your organisation, or simply by supporting your internal SDF with some strategic insight and back-end administrative support.
ACCREDIT YOUR INTERNAL TRAINING AND SCORE!
Speaking of BEE – many of our larger clients are accrediting their internal, company/product specific training to ensure that 100% of their investment in this training can be claimed towards their BEE SD spend targets. Have you considered accrediting your internal training? Feel free to give me an obligation-free shout if you’d like me to talk you through the opportunities….. email@example.com
WHO’S SHOWING THRIVE A LITTLE LUUUURVE THIS MONTH:
“Indeed it has been a great pleasure working with Thrive – the service is magnificent and attention to detail by consultant is amazing as well the fact that they have the best interest of their client when working on a project is impressive and is an icing on the cake. No hassles and great communication during the project – project was well managed and updates on the project plan done regularly and communicated to us. Thilligie was very helpful and dedicated to this project and would answer all the questions we had and brought solutions to any obstacles we encountered. It has been a great honour working with such a determined, focused and dedicated individual.”
